Pam Roberts

Pam’s passion for yoga began in 2002 when she walked into her first yoga class. Being an adventurous sort and a great lover of Mother Earth, Pam loves to explore the outdoors, whether by foot, horseback, mountain bike or water. That summer she had the experience of tumbling down the mountain side, bike in tow, the result of momentary distraction. Following the advice of a wise friend and physical therapist she decided to explore yoga with the intention of both healing her body and developing mindfulness. Her exploration of yoga has awoken the amazing intelligence of the body and lead her down the intimate path of becoming one with the present moment.

By 2007 her love for yoga, lead her to teaching. She completed a 300 hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program, with an additional 100 hours in Yoga Therapy, under the guidance and instruction of Colin Hall, Sarah Garden, David McAmmond and Kim Lawrence. Pam has traveled through India, Canada and United States exploring various disciplines of Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda.

Pam’s background in Early Childhood Education has inspired her to take yoga into the lives of young children. Her gift in working with children has created the foundation for a yoga program benefiting children of all ages. Pam has just recently completed certification as a Yoga Ed Instructor, Grades K – 8, qualifying her to teach Yoga Ed to children grades K – 8 and Tools for Teachers to classroom teachers and early childhood educators. In July, 2010 Pam had the opportunity to assist Julie Sorichetti, Yoga Ed Trainer, in offering the Yoga Ed Training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts.
